This week, I’m going to hang a sconce from Shades of Light in my office. I don’t currently have any office lighting so it tends to feel a bit dark in here.
The sconce we had before came off the wall about 8 inches. Every time Jake would come in this room, he’d almost hit his head! This one is way more flush, it only comes off the wall about 4 inches.
This sconce caught my eye a few weeks ago and I thought it would be the perfect addition to the calm, neutral space. It’s ceramic and has a “cracked” finish. I’m so excited to see it with the light on!
Turned the power off and reconnected all the wires. It took about 10 minutes!
It ties in really well with the rug and the furniture we chose for this space. I might get a cooler-toned lightbulb – but overall I really love this addition to the space.
