I’ve never really had proper storage in my office. We have so much film gear, office supplies, and crafting supplies. It’s about time and I’m so excited!
The closet will go in this empty space in the office.
We are using Modular Closets. We were able to submit our measurements so this closet will be custom fit to our space. They have a 3D Design tool where you can test out different combinations of cabinet doors and drawers. Here’s what we came up with.
They shipped them all in boxes and it was super easy to assemble. They have a ton of different designs. I went with the shaker cabinet doors and two of them with glass!
We had trouble finding studs…so we drilled like 15 holes in the wall 🙃 Time for plan B – drywall toggle anchors. After installing the drywall anchors, it was smooth sailing. We installed all the boxes onto the wall.
Next step – drawers!
The drawers were so easy to assemble. You can also adjust the hinges easily by messing with the top screw slightly. You can raise or lower the hinges this way!

We all know I love to organize so I was excited to start putting things away! I used these white storage bins from Target and I love them. Everything fits and it’s so satisfying!
