We're so glad you're here! We've been transforming spaces together for the past five years and slowly renovating our own 1950's home. Join us as we create a home we love!

Hi, we're Jake and Sarah

Last off in our bedroom, I replaced our pendant light and I love it! Next on my list is installing floating nightstands!

I wasn’t sure what to do here because the space is super small since we installed the wardrobes in here. I didn’t want anything on the ground. Some of you suggested floating ones from Nathan James and I decided to go for it! I ordered two of these in Walnut.

They are the perfect solution and pretty straight forward to assemble and install.

To pick the correct height, I laid in my bed and kept reaching back to see what felt the most comfortable haha. They include this template to help you know where to screw into your wall.

I put one on either side of Jake and I’s bed and they are the perfect fit. I’m so glad we settled on these floating nightstands. They only took me about an hour to install!

We still have quite a few things to get done here in Jake and I’s bedroom. Here’s everything that’s still on the list:

  • Install Window Trim
  • Install Roman Shade
  • Hang Curtains
  • Test New Mattresses (we’ve both been dealing with lower back issues)
  • Hang Art
  • Demo Closet Door/Frame Wall (to prep for future coffee bar!!!)

It felt so good checking this project off the list.

Stay tuned in my stories as I keep working away at Jake and I’s bedroom makeover!
