Homemade cookies…how can you go wrong? This is the perfect gift to give someone when you aren’t quite sure what they’d like. Who doesn’t like some freshly made chocolate chip oatmeal cookies? I used my friend Sierra’s recipe linked here. I made the dough a few days ahead, and pulled the dough out of the freezer and baked them the day of a birthday party! After they cooled down for about fifteen minutes, I put them in this cute little pastry box. I bought a pack of 24 because I figured they’d come in handy with the upcoming holiday season! They come with the boxes, string, little stickers, and gift tags, and I like that you can see what’s in the box without having to open it.
I got these all aluminum NordicWare pans over the summer, and have really liked them. We wanted to switch from nonstick to something I didn’t have to worry about scratching. I have a very small European oven, so the “jelly roll pan” fits perfectly!
If you’re on a budget, can’t figure out what to give someone, or just have a great cookie recipe to share, this would make for a perfect gift. Happy baking!
