I’m putting the curtain rod back up today since I finished the work in my shower! I took it down to work on the vent this last week. My old curtain has ✨mold✨ so I’m swapping it out!
This grey waffle curtain should be better because I can just throw it in the wash whenever I need to clean it! I just grabbed it at the Crate & Barrel outlet. We used a simple tension rod and clear shower curtain beneath the waffle one. Why I have been putting this off for months – I have no idea🤦🏻♀️
Why not a glass door?
I chose to do a curtain instead of glass doors because our tap water is really hard. The calcium buildup is pretty bad. I’m not quite ready to commit to that cleaning effort right now. I think I’d be constantly scrubbing it.
Also, this bathroom is under 30 square feet. Often times Jake or I end up brushing our teeth in the shower – the curtain makes it so one of us can stand in here….hah!
I saw a post a few months ago about not turning the bathroom light on when getting ready for bed – but using a candle instead. I love how it helps me wind down at night. I go through taper candles SO quickly though, so I bought this battery operated one that matches perfectly.
