Today, I’ll be swapping out my island outlets. I have white outlets on my navy blue island and it’s always sort of bugged me. My eye always goes right to the outlet and that’s not the focal point of the island! I’m gonna swap these island outlets out to match my kitchen hardware.
We got brass outlets and switch plates that are the same color as the rest of our kitchen hardware. I think it’ll look much more elegant in here after we swap them out. The switch plates are from Rejuvenation. The outlets and light switches are from Amazon!
The process is super simple! Just remember where the three wires go, and copy it!
Such a simple fix that elevates our kitchen island so much! I love how cohesive it looks with the rest of our kitchen hardware. I’ve loved this kitchen hardware since the beginning. I never thought I could love outlets just as much. 😂
Like I always say, I never regret taking the time to make these simple changes. This is why I love 5% Saturday so much! It is so satisfying to watch my long list of tiny projects get smaller and smaller.
