Our kitchen tile wall is coming along! This week for 5% Saturday, we tiled the outlets. We had to make some intricate cuts to fit our tile around the outlets in our kitchen.
Truthfully, I had no idea what I was doing haha.
I started by turning the power off – this is important!
The trowel wouldn’t fit around these outlets, so I used my fingers.
There is a ton of work that goes into cutting just one of these tiles! But the details make the whole thing worth it.
The blade we use for tiling can’t cut you – it’s more of a wheel than a blade.
On our LAST outlet, a tile we spent SO much time cutting broke. Sad. I’ll be redoing that one next week for sure.
