On our way back this past week from our Yucca Valley trip, we went to Lake Arrowhead to spend time with some life long friends.
This is what I love about California. In just two hours we went from the dessert (left) to the mountains (right).
We stayed in the most charming cabin up here. My only disclaimer is that in that the master bathroom has a pretty gross carpet. Not ideal. Other than that, it truly is a wonderful space! You can check it out here on airbnb.com.
I grew up coming to Lake Arrowhead every year. Jake and I have been coming up here together for 30 years. If you didn’t know, our parents have been friends since before we were born!
I just found out this time around that there are sandy beaches where you can swim! There is a day pass you can get for the lake! There is a sandy beach just past “Peninsula Park” and it’s $10 per visitor. This was so much fun!
