We're so glad you're here! We've been transforming spaces together for the past five years and slowly renovating our own 1950's home. Join us as we create a home we love!

Hi, we're Jake and Sarah

Our house is fairly small. We have 3 bedrooms – our bedroom, Charlie’s nursery, and my office. Besides that, just the kitchen and living room. That’s it! No spare room. I’ve wanted to have a place for guests to stay….I have a plan involving a Thuma bed. Let me show you!

We’ll need to use the office when we have guests. We’re going to use a Thuma bed! They can be assembled in just 5-10 minutes with no tools required. The 4 sides slide together essentially.

Here’s the office… as an office! I’ll move the desk out and the book cases against the wall and we can fit a king bed in here.

Look how simple this is – we have the frame, legs, slats, and 2 screws. That’s literally it!

I want this whole setup to be super easy to store while also looking super cozy – so I got a king air mattress! It packs up really small into a box.

Okay, the office is officially a guest room! The bed frame took less than 10 minutes to set up. It’s so beautiful! I think it ties in so perfectly with the vibe in here.

Thuma Guest Bed

Thuma is a sustainable brand. The bed is made of real rubberwood. Like I said, such easy assembly! It’s not secretly confusing like Ikea. The disassembly won’t destroy the furniture.

Look at this transformation!

They have different headboard options too! I decided to get just a frame because I wanted to keep everything underneath the window. Here are the headboard options they offer. (There are different wood colors as well.
