My front door has looked like this since we moved in – it’s just been primed. It needs some paint! This will be a simple makeover with a huge impact. I want to add some depth with the color – there’s too much white right now.
I used the color “Shadow Taupe” by Behr.
I’m using cabinet, door, and trim enamel paint in satin with a quarter inch nap roller. I put the first coat on and let it dry over night. I used 400 grit sandpaper before starting my second coat just to knock down any uneven spots on the paint. I painted 3 coats total.
