We're so glad you're here! We've been transforming spaces together for the past five years and slowly renovating our own 1950's home. Join us as we create a home we love!

Hi, we're Jake and Sarah

I created this train bedroom for the sweetest little 2-year-old boy! I found this really cool bed frame that looks like a house and I knew it would be perfect for the space.

Here’s the mood board for this project.

I had so much fun working on all the details: I hand-painted a rolling hills and starry sky mural, spray-painted train tracks on a rug, and used a canopy bed with string lights for a whimsical touch. I’ll list all of our sources at the bottom of this post!

Here are all the products I used for this Train Bedroom makeover!

Here are all the links!
bed frame
fairy lights
grey bedspread
red throw blanket
spray paint for train tracks
train lamp
star stickers
wood floating shelves
train print set
wood picture frame
wood toy train
black toy train
red toy train
railroad crossing decal

The colors I used on the mural from bottom to top:

Behr Milkweed Pod
PPG Pine Garland
Behr Bay Water
Glidden High Sierra
Behr Rainy Season
PPG Goblin

Sample sizes were enough to complete this one-wall mural! I’m so happy with how this room turned out, and little guy was so thrilled with his “Choo Choo Room!”
